This project funded by the Italian Ministry of the Environment aims to the identification and distribution of non indigenous species belonging to 8 taxonomic groups: molluscs, polychaetes, cnidarians, fish, crustaceans, ascidians, bryozoans, algae. Next goals of this project is the updating of the data bank, tissue bank and taxonomic atlas already obtained in the first part of this project, and the monitoring of organisms from ballast waters in two Italian harbours. |
